Hi!

I'm  Dr.  Angela Nicole Parker and I am apologetically creative. While most find their passion in one thing, I see myself as a Jill of All Trades.

A nerd, before it was cool to be a nerd, I have always been fascinated by strange new worlds and ideas that are outside the box.

I am  a Los Angeles-based writer, trainer, professor and consultant and have spent my career working towards empowering others, first as a newspaper reporter, then by designing youth educational programs, which include running Phenom Girls, a non-profit that helps young girls find the phenomenal woman within, and GeneratioNext, a newsmagazine that gives Black youth a voice and teaches them about communication and journalism. I also facilitate workshops and conversations around self-empowerment, healthy relationships and domestic violence.

Writing, however, is my first love and greatest passion and my books are  among my proudest achievements.
